Spring Clean-Up Day Saturday, June 2nd

The Town of Fleming will be offering our 3rd annual Clean-Up Day for the Town of Fleming property owners. Its purpose is to encourage residents to keep their properties neat and tidy, by disposing of junk and debris generated within town limits. This event is not for household trash, which can be disposed of at the Recycling Center with a valid permit. Saturday recycling will be business as usual 8:00 am-12:30 pm! The Town Highway Superintendent, Kerry Smith, is in charge of our Spring Clean-Up Day and will have the right to refuse items that are deemed inappropriate for disposal.

NOTE:  You will be asked to sign in at arrival and may be asked to show your driver’s license as proof that you own property in the Town of Fleming.  

Items that we CANNOT accept due to landfill regulations:

  • hazardous material of any kind including chemicals
  •  batteries, liquids, pesticides
  • oil cans, fuel tanks, propane tanks
  •  paint cans unless emptied or dried
  •  infectious material and medical waste
  •  tires, vehicles, mowers, boats, cut up house trailers
  •  electronics and items containing freon
